Brandy Sue Amadis Jackson

Brandy Sue Amadis Jackson, 18, born on January 23, 1998, in Tallahassee, Florida, went home to be with Jesus on September 17, 2016. Brandy was a student of the Florida Virtual School. She was employed at MoJo’s Backyard, where she lived her passion, caring for dogs. Brandy will be missed by all her fur-clients and their owners for the love, care and devotion she showered upon them daily. Brandy’s own fur-babies, Dinah, Aladdin, Soft Kitty, and Rigby will miss her snuggles and many kisses. Brandy was a fashionista, lover of the Florida State Seminoles, Miami Hurricanes and the Miami Heat. She made up half of the Evil Twins with her cousin Brad Mann of Spartanburg, SC who was just 13 days younger than his “twin” he called B. Winner of the 1999 Beach Baby Contest - BOYS Division, fun-loving, sassy, smart, sincere, devoted, fiercely loyal, sweet, gorgeous inside and out. This tiny Diva with the huge heart will be missed beyond measure. Loving daughter of Stacey Fultz and Jean Amadis of Tallahassee, Florida and Bobby Jackson of Milton, Florida, she is survived by her adoring sister, Ashlee Nicole Jackson of Tallahassee; a maternal grandmother (MawMaw) Linda Sue Smith of Nokomis, Florida; a paternal grandmother, Ann Lee James of Atlanta, GA; paternal grand-parents Jean and Symphonie Marie Amadis of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; aunts, uncles and cousins; innumerable devoted friends, including family friend, Jackie Cabbage of Tallahassee, and many fur-friends. To know Brandy was to be warmed by her radiant smile and calmed by her gentle spirit. She left a sparkle wherever she went. She was predeceased in death by her cousin, Amanda Lee Hicks (Sarasota, FL), fur-babies Raja & Royce and fur-brother, Rex. Visitation will be on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Bevis Funeral Home, 2710 North Monroe St. Tallahassee, FL, with the service immediately following at 1:00pm. A reception will follow at the Miccosukee Community Center, 13887 Moccasin Gap Rd., Tallahassee, FL from 3:00-5:00 pm.
