Christine Davis Brandon

Christine Davis Brandon (79) of Tallahassee, entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Christine was welcomed into heaven by the love of her life, Charles Evans, her beloved parents, Dessie Dimple Davis and William Marvin Davis, and her dear brothers, Lowell Wayne Davis Sr. and Harold Lee Davis. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love lives on through her daughter, Tammy Lisa Brandon, her treasured grandchildren, Brianna Brito, Chelsey Vara, Christina Vara, and Brandon Vara, her devoted sisters, Emma Jean Gamble, Shirley Ann Wieland, and Alice Faye Ross, and her godchild, Crystal Miller. Above all else, Christine was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her faith in the Catholic Church was unwavering, and she took great pride in being a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge. She had a heart for her community and a passion for helping others, as well as always finding ways to lend a hand and bring joy to those around her. Born on March 12, 1946, in Abbeville, Alabama, Christine spent her life in Tallahassee, Florida, where she graduated from Leon High School in 1964. She dedicated 35 years to serving the state of Florida as a records technician, retiring on June 30, 2011. Although she retired, she never slowed down. She took pride in working at Fresh 4 Less as a Cashier and would spread warmth to every customer who came by. Christine will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She found joy in the simple pleasures—cooking for her grandchildren, bringing her loved ones together for the holidays, and filling every room with laughter and kindness. She had a special love for Bingo, her church, fishing, traveling, the beach, and Elvis Presley. Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her. Christine’s memory will forever be a guiding light to those she loved. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Bevis Funeral Home.
