Henrietta Lopez Trammell

Henrietta Lopez Trammell, age 91, passed away in Miramar Beach, Florida on June 28, 2023. She was born on July 1, 1931 in Tampa, Florida to her parents Henry J. Lopez and Elvetta H. Lopez. Henrietta spent most of life in Tallahassee. She graduated from Leon High school in 1949, attended Florida State University for one year before moving to Washington DC to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In August of 1951, she married her high school sweetheart, Charles Ronald Trammell. They lived in Hawaii for 1 year, then moved back home to Tallahassee where she worked as the bookkeeper at Henry’s Tallahassee Radiator Shop, which was owned by her father and her husband. She enjoyed going to their river cottage for weekends of water skiing, freshwater fishing, scalloping at their beach house, flower gardening in her yard and fellowship with their Christian friends. She was a member of Christian Heritage Church, Women’s Aglow Fellowship, and many local Bible Study groups. She made a miraculous recovery from degenerative arthritis and Breast cancer to conduct an evangelical ministry of hope and healing. Survivors include her loving husband of 72 years, Charles Ronald Trammell; daughter Lynn Marie Harmon (Dan), grandchildren Daniel Harmon, IV, Taylor Harmon (Alyssa) and Jillian Harmon; daughter Rona Kay Fuchs (Douglas), grandchildren Morgan Corbin (Andrew), Merrick Fuchs and Tara Fuchs; great-granddaughter Charlotte Rose Corbin; sister Linda Couch (Charles); nephews Chris Couch and Brent (Melanie) Couch as well as a wonderful list of Church and Christian friends. The family will be receiving friends and guests for visitation at Bevis Funeral Home (200 John Knox Road, Tallahassee, FL) on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery after the service has concluded.
