Karen Pfeiffer Allen

Karen Pfeiffer Allen, age 58, entered into rest April 10, 2024. She is survived by her husband Jeff Allen and 2 children, Brittany Jackson (Brad Jackson), Colby Allen, and 1 granddaughter, Finley Jackson. She is also survived by her parents Leroy and Georgia Pfeiffer, and sister Amy Revell (Cris Revell), and 2 nieces Hannah, and Haley. Karen was a fighter from the start. Her stroke happened on an eclipse. A day where literal darkness took the light away. Even on this day, she fought. Adopted as an infant, it’s easy to imagine that she found that dynamite aura from the very beginning. Anyone who has ever come in contact with her knows about her aura. Jeff knew it the moment he met her 43 years ago. At 15 years old their love story began and it has stood the test of time. As an adult with 2 small kids and a husband with an unpredictable schedule in law enforcement she went back to school. She fought for a career she knew she wanted. A teacher. Teaching is what she was put on this earth to do. Her fighting spirit taught everyone so much. Together Karen and Jeff competed in 2 full Ironman triathlons, multiple half Ironman, and countless other races. Truth be told, there was not a single thing they didn’t do together. Joined at the hip, soul mates, destined to be together till time was up. This family is lucky. All who knew her are lucky. Her fighting spirit, her lessons, and her beautiful aura will far outlive the pain felt. The faith in God she instilled will remain steadfast as ever. Karen’s last selfless act was donating the organs she could so someone else could live. Her legacy will continue to that lucky recipient in Memphis. Now up in Heaven, she is looking down on all, shining her light, and teaching all the lessons she can. And that is something worth celebrating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at Bevis Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13th at Fellowship Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the Karen Allen Scholarship fund is being established.
