Leonard "Lenny" Frank Brantley

Leonard “Lenny” Frank Brantley (57) of Tallahassee, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025. Lenny is preceded in death by his grandmother, Nan Moore, grandfather, Frank Moore, grandmother, Martha Brantley, and grandfather, Edward Brantley. He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Patti) Brantley, father, Bobby Brantley, Sr. (Tallahassee), brother, Bobby Brantley, Jr., sister-in-law, Michelle Brantley, beautiful niece and goddaughter, Olivia (Seychelles) and his constant companion, Kayce, his loyal Llewellin Setter. Lenny built a successful career and business, Brantley Custom Homes, as a respected custom home builder. He took great pride in the homes he built and was proud of the lasting relationships he built with clients in the process. These homes serve as a legacy and testament to Lenny’s honesty, dedication, and craftsmanship in creating lasting spaces for these families and individuals. Born September 12, 1967, in Deland, Florida, Lenny grew up in Longwood, FL, and graduated from Lake Mary High School before moving to attend Brevard College (NC). He then moved to Tallahassee with his family in 1986 to attend Florida State University (FSU), where he became a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Lenny was known for his generous heart and good-natured spirit. He loved golfing and fishing, and will be remembered for his loyalty, quick wit, and knack for sharing stories about the glory days with his friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 2:00pm at Bevis Funeral Home, 200 John Knox Rd., Tallahassee, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation (https://t2t.org/donate/), providing homes for America’s heroes, in Lenny’s memory.
