Logan Elliott Kever

Logan Elliott Kever, 41, of Bristol, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. He was born in Tallahassee, Florida, on November 28, 1977 to the late Colin Davis Kever and Sherrie Boykin Kever. His grandparents were the late Davis Kever and Dorothy Kyle Kever, and the late Otho Boykin and Pauline Phillips Boykin. He was a lifelong resident of Liberty County, except for a brief period of time when he left for training during his time serving in the National Guard. He served eight years of local service before his honorable discharge. While in the National Guard he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Flagler College. Throughout his youth and young adult life, his passion was hunting and enjoying all nature offered. This passion led him into working in the timber industry as an adult. Many years of his life were devoted to working for Georgia Pacific and Rex Lumber. He sincerely cared for and loved the people he worked with and for, valuing everyone for their worth as a person. He was a former member of the Liberty County School Board for eight years. He was proud to call Liberty County his home and enjoyed serving the people of his community. As he increased in years, his passion for nature and his community was only surpassed by his love for his children and family. Logan’s survivors include his children, Isla Ryan Kever, Estella Mae Kever, Knox Elliott Kever, and Veda Suri Kever; his older brother, Zachary Davis Kever and sister-in-law, Emany Kever, and their child, Corbyn; his younger brother, Mason Kyle Kever and sister-in-law, Jennifer Shuler Kever, and their children, Ashten, Chace, Maverick and Annorah; the mother of his children, Charlotte Deanne Barber; his uncles and aunts, Jerry and Melissa Muza, and John “Bobby” and Kim Day; first cousin Aaron Day and his wife Britt Day, and their children, Jonathan, Justin, Jacob and Summer; first cousin Jared Day and wife Heather Day, and their children Abby and Autumn; and many other cousins and generations of beloved family members. All friends and family are invited to attend the visitation and services at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Bristol, Florida. The visitation will begin at 9:30 AM EST on Thursday, October 17, 2019. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM EST. Interment and blessing of his grave will be held at the Rock Bluff Cemetery.
