Margaret Bloise Sineath Wood

Margaret Bloise Sineath Wood passed away peacefully on January 29,, 2012, at Consulate Health Care. Bloise, 95 years, was married 72 years to Jessie Wood, who passed ten months before her. Born in Lakeland, Florida, her family moved to Tallahassee where she lived until her marriage. In 1951 she and Jessie retuned to Tallahassee to raise their family. Bloise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, friend, and neighbor. She was a fulltime homemaker, who raised four kids and adored her grandchildren. She loved her garden and had a green thumb that could make a stick grow. She enjoyed fishing, watching her grandsons clog, cooking (stovetop thick crusted cornbread was kids’ favorite) and cherished her memories of her father and mother. She taught her children Christian values, money management and how to gently overcome problems. Bloise is survived by one daughter, three sons, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great- great granddaughter. Her family includes: daughter Margaret Sheila Roche (Kenny), their sons Pastor Christopher and Timothy (Stephanie); oldest son Jesse Eugene Wood (Melinda), their daughter Cindy Rutledge (Gene) , their daughter Alyssa and son Phillip, Gene and Melinda's son Jeffry Eugene Wood, his daughter Abigail and her daughter Kassie and Jeff's son Tyler ( Lauren); son, Dr. Larry David Wood (Betsy), his daughter Shannon Ferguson (Joe) and her son Dwayne Gerrell; Larry's son David (Teresa) and their children , Nicole, Torrie, Chance, Chase and Heaven, Larry's daughter Brooke Adkins(Brian) and their daughter Addison, Betsy's and Larry's(step) daughter Kathryn Jones Williams (Christian) and their son Landon, and Larry's and Betsy's daughter Maggie; and Bloise’s youngest son, Carl Richard Wood. He has three daughters: Carla with sons Dalton, Brandon and Nickoli; and his other daughters Christy and Allison Kever (Jonathan). Bloise will be missed by her nieces and nephews Melba, Paula, Leona, Frances, Beatrice, Jerry, Sonny, and Clyde. Bloise Wood is preceded in death by her husband Jessie of 72 years, her Father, Fred Sineath, her Mother Rachel Sineath, one brother Earnest and three sisters Gladys, Ruby and Elizabeth. Funeral services will be held at Seminole Baptist Church, Friday, February 3, 2012, at 11:00 AM followed with the internment at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
