Michele Ann Brudenell

.Michele Brudenell, 79, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025. Michele was born in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, at St. Paul Hospital. She spent her early years in White Bear Lake before relocating with her family to Minneapolis, where she attended several elementary schools and later Ramsey Junior High. Michele eventually moved to Edina and graduated from Edina-Morningside High School. Following high school, Michele began her professional career in Minneapolis, working as a ward secretary at Abbott Hospital, and later with Equitable Life Insurance and Blue Cross of Minnesota. In 1974, Michele made a life-changing move to Tallahassee, Florida. She pursued her passion for nursing at Lively Vocational Technical School, earning her LPN. In 1976, she began her career at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Never one to stop learning, Michele later earned her RN from Tallahassee Community College in 1986. She served as a dedicated night shift assistant head nurse until her retirement on February 10, 2002. After retiring, Michele embraced her love for antiques and collectibles by opening a booth at the Havana Antique Mall. She enjoyed flea markets, visiting glass factories, making ceramics, attending craft shows, and playing cards. Michele was also a devoted member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, where she participated in Bible studies, Mission Quilters, and served as an usher, greeter, altar guild member, and helped transport others in need. Michele was preceded in death by her parents, James Brudenell and Leone Debes Brudenell, and her brothers, Gerry and Jack Brudenell, and her sister-in-law, Marlene Brudenell. She is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Mark Brudenell (Karen), Sue Brudenell, Ann Brudenell (David Lee), James Brudenell (Junko), Joy Brudenell, Jeanine Brudenell, Michon Brudenell, and Micheal Brudenell (Stacie); her sister-in-law, Diane McCalvy; and many extended family members and friends. Michele's warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched many lives. She will be deeply missed. Memorial service to be held at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 8300 Deer Lake S, Tallahassee, FL on Monday, June 9, 2025, 1:30 pm.
