Ryan Anthony LeVeen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan Anthony LeVeen, who departed this life on July 2, 2026, at the age of 43. Ryan was born on April 28, 1983, in Tallahassee, Florida, where he remained a resident for the majority of his life. A lifelong Florida State University fan, Ryan could always be found cheering for the Seminoles every Saturday during football season. He was a man of many passions, most notably his love for animals—he never met a stray he didn’t want to rescue—and his dedication to the culinary arts, which he pursued as his lifelong career. As a child, Ryan loved customizing toy model cars, searching for shark teeth at Pirate’s Cove in Jacksonville, and enjoying his favorite shows, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Airwolf, as well as his favorite childhood film, Tank. In his adult years, Ryan cherished time spent at the beach, taking his children to the park, and preparing his signature meal of steak and crab legs for his loved ones. Ryan is survived by his mother, Brenda Anderson; his father, Kenneth LeVeen; his siblings, Kristy Brown, April (Benji) Hutchinson, and Kyle LeVeen; his fiancé, Jessica McClure; and his children, McKenzie LeVeen, Brenton Renninger, Kambria LeVeen, Ryder LeVeen, Olivia McClure, and Ava LeVeen. He will also be deeply missed by his countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is now at eternal peace, reunited with his great-grandmothers, Lucille Jones and Beth Legge; his grandmother, Fleeta Bowling(Nana); his grandfather, Henry Bowling(Pawpaw); his great-aunts, Sandra Finch and Glenda Francis; his great-uncles, Dale Jones and Ed Finch; his aunt, Sonia Bowling-Pitchford; and his cousin, Sean Kelley. A memorial service to celebrate Ryan’s life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, located at 200 John Knox Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303. A gathering for lunch will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Glory Days Grill, located at 1926 Capital Circle NE, Tallahassee, FL 32308. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Bend Hospice in Ryan’s honor.
