It is with a heavy heart that we share the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Patti and Steve. We are completely devastated by this profound loss, and our lives will never be the same without them. We know so many of you love them and are hurting with us. At this time, we kindly ask for your understanding that we do not wish to discuss the details surrounding the accident. Please respect our privacy as we focus on grieving together and supporting one another through this unimaginable pain. Stephen John Haller age 65, and his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Adams Haller, age 63, passed away together on July 10, 2026 in Tallahassee, FL. Their lives were defined by a profound devotion to one another and their family. Steve was born on September 23, 1960 and grew up on Long Island, NY. He spent his career working as an Air Traffic Controller, and was widely known for his passion for cooking, golf, rooting for the Jets, and his signature habit of making friends wherever he went. Patti was born on October 1, 1962 in Sarasota, FL. She dedicated her professional life to working at Assurant and brought endless joy to those around her through her love for thrifting, clogging, and her unique gift of making others laugh. True soulmates, they were united in marriage on November 10, 1990 in Miami, FL. Together, they spent 35 beautiful years building a foundation of love, laughter, and family. They were rarely seen apart and loved spending their time trying new beers at local breweries, bowling, traveling, feasting on seafood, and above all, spending time with their granddaughter, Amelia or as they called her “Millie Goose.” Millie meant absolutely everything to them, they took immense joy in completely spoiling her at every opportunity, and proudly sported their “Promoted to Grandma” and “Promoted to Grandpa” shirts. They leave behind a beautiful legacy and are survived by their children, Kristen and Ryan Silverman, Kevin Haller, and fur baby Lucy; their granddaughter Amelia Silverman, the light of their life; and a wide circle of extended family and lifelong friends. A joint funeral service will be held at Bevis Funeral Home of Tallahassee on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. A celebration of their lives will follow at Amicus Brewing Ventures from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in their memory.
