William E (Bill) Clark

William E (Bill) Clark, 69, died suddenly at his home on Sat, Jun 23, 2012 in Tallahassee, FL. Loving husband of Kathryn Williams Clark of 48 years; Owner of Clark Investment Properties (Real Estate Investment & Development) since 1972. Bill came to FL as a young soldier serving in USAF at Tyndall AFB, Panama City FL. Having being baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during his young adult years, he dedicated his life to the examples and teachings of the Savior, Jesus Christ, and became people loving and service oriented. From 2008-2011, he and Kathy served as humanitarian missionaries for the LDS (Mormon) Church in Mongolia. Bill put his heart, soul and faith into all he did, whether it be serving and leading his family and others or working in real estate. He left a legacy of faith, strength, hard work and good works for his children, grandchildren and friends. Bill is also survived by his 7 children – Paisley (Joe) Robinson, Tallahassee; Suzanne (Carl) Sessions, Pensacola; David Clark, Miami; Lori (Matt) Baumann, Dominica; Ami (Theron) Gibson, Jacksonville; Alisa Clark & Erik Wilcken, Utah; and Joe Clark, Tallahassee; 16 grandchildren – Kendall, Kinsey, Jordan, Jolynn, Morgan, Macey, Savannah, Kara, Callie, Matthew, Tharyn, Waylon, William, Benjamin & Jayna. Bill was preceded in death by his grandson, Jayce. Born in Mobile AL, the son of Joseph & Genie Poole Clark (deceased). Preceded in death by his brothers, Walter and James Clark, and his sister, Renee Driscoll. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Kilpatrick and brothers, Jerry and Donnie Clark of Mobile AL, and many nieces & nephews. He is also survived by friends and loved ones throughout the world, including many Mongolians young and old who he adopted through his loving acts of kindness and faith. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 6:00 PM, until 8:00 PM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 312, Stadium Dr. Tallahassee, FL. The funeral service will also be held at the church on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 11:00 AM. The interment will be Thursday June 28, 2012 at 4:00 (EST) at East Mt. Zion Cemetery, 1592 North highway 173, Graceville, FL. Bevis Funeral Home, (850) 385-2193, www.bevisfh.com, is in charge of the arrangements.
