Betty Jo Yates Revell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Betty Jo Yates Revell, age 90, went to be with Jesus on May 26, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. Betty Jo was born in Tallahassee to George and Ruby Yates and was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee. She had one brother, George M. Yates, and sister-in-law, Ned Brown Yates. Betty Jo loved her family! She was a wonderful cook and was always willing to set an additional plate at her table for whoever was visiting with her children. She attended Bible Believer’s Church. Betty Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Guy Revell. Survivors include her children: Kendahl Gay (Guy); Bronwyn Ferrell (David), Raymond Garrett Revell (Stephanie), Dardra Potter (Tim) and her grandchildren: Chance Daniels (Heather), Chelsea Daniels (Sam), Grayson Revell (Jade), Christian Rich, and Zach Potter and her great granddaughter, Quinn Daniels, and former daughter-in-law, Andrea Revell. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2nd at Bevis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 3rd at Bible Believer’s Church, with burial to follow at Lake Mystic Cemetery, Bristol, FL.
