Daniel Shane Wiley

July 23, 1995 - April 13, 2022

Daniel Shane Wiley passed away on April 13, 2022, from injuries resulting from a motorcycle crash in Tallahassee, Florida. He is now in the arms of Jesus. Daniel grew up in Tallahassee and on the beach of St. Teresa. He loved all things having to do with boating, shorelines, sunsets, dogs, campfires, hunting, fishing, laughter, music, mountains, waterfalls, family, Jesus, and great times with good friends. Daniel owned Boulder Painting Co., LLC. Daniel enjoyed buying, restoring, and selling or trading any kind of motorized vehicle or vessel. He was very intelligent and mechanically inclined. He could fix just about anything. Daniel had a contagious laugh and when Daniel started laughing, everybody started laughing. Daniel is survived by his father, Gary Wiley, his mother, Lura Wiley and his brother Christian Wiley, his nephew Christopher Daniel-McWhorter Wiley, his maternal grandmother, Judy Shaffer, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Shaffer who shared his love of fishing. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Chapel Tallahassee or the Leon County Humane Society. Service will be on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the service will follow at 11:00 AM at Calvary Chapel, 8614 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, Fl. There will be a gathering for friends and family at the Tallahassee Moose Lodge, 1478 Capital Circle NW, Tallahassee, Fl., from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.
