James Edward "Big Ed" Sweatt, Jr.

November 30, 1974 - November 25, 2021

James Edward "Big Ed" Sweatt Jr. passed away unexpectedly at age 46 on November 25th, 2021. Ed was born November 30th, 1974 in Tallahassee and grew up in Wakulla County, Florida. He worked for the City of Tallahassee and was a Bouncer/Security at Corner Pocket Bar and Grille for many years, where he gained his second family and met the love of his life. Though he was only on earth for a short time, he made a huge impact on anyone who knew him. He is remembered everyday by his family and friends. Ed lit up any room he walked in and had a smile that you won't ever forget, but his heart- his heart was bigger than he was. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, cooking amazing foods, shopping till he couldn't stand anymore, being out on the water getting his tan on to maintain his "Bronze God Big Sexy" status, and spending time with his devoted wife, family and friends. Ed is survived by the love of his life, Lacey Brandon Sweatt, his sister Lisa Dunn (Ricky), Nephews Kolby and Tysen Dunn, his "Pops", Leonard Arnold, his Brother Mark Arnold (Jennifer),and Niece, Ryver Arnold. He is predeceased by Diane Donley (Mother), Ed Sweatt Sr. (Father), Cooper and Margaret Donley(Grandparents) David Conn and Kimberly Crum with Bevis Funeral Home of Crawfordville are assisting the family with arrangements.
