Jimmye Lee Maples Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jimmye Lee Maples, 86, of Parrish, AL, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2021, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was born May 20, 1934 in Jasper,AL to the late Albert Fore Sargent and Lucy Alberta Reed. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino, but her favorite thing was spending time with her family. She spent over 50 years working with her fair family traveling the country. In addition to her parents, Jimmye was preceded in death by her husband James Walter Maples, sisters Lee Bush, Stelleen Burks and Peggy Robertson, her brothers Lennon Sargent, Billy Sargent, and Gene Sargent, and granddaughter Bambi Alcaida. She is survived by her brother, Glen (Daylene) Sargent, sons Jackie (Linda) Cooner, Mike(Susanne) Alcaida, her daughter Teresa (Doug) Maples. Her grandchildren Laura (Tommy) Rutledge, Jennifer (Matt) Carroll, Marisa (Todd) Pressley, Amanda Cooner, Adam(Sam)Alcaida, Taz Beatley, Jared Alcaida, Tara (Owen) Rivers, Mikala (Harry) Wagner, Callie O’Brien, Mckenna (Jakob) Midthun, Christian O’Brien, and 13 greatgrand children. By request of Jimmye, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in her memory.
