Julia Margaret Chamberlin

February 11, 1932 - March 1, 2022

Julia Margaret Graby Chamberlin, 90, of Tallahassee, Florida entered the arms of her Savior on March 1, 2022. She was born on the family farm in Cannonsville, NY to Augustus and Crystal Graby in 1932. She showed her organizational skills early and used them as high school class secretary and later as a secretary in the phone company in Deposit NY. She married Leroy Chamberlin in November 1952 and moved to Florida in 1958 becoming a full-time homemaker. She reentered the workforce in 1975 as a tax preparer and became an expert in preparing State, Canadian, Foreign taxes for HR Block and later worked as a tax consultant for One Source. She served as church Clerk for many years as well as Sunday School secretary at her local Baptist church. Julia is survived by her daughter Terry Chamberlin Thompson (Chet); grandchildren Drew Thompson (Betsy), Wade Thompson (Felicia), Cory Thompson Rusch (Levi), and Lucas Chamberlin; great-grandchildren Everet, Evangelyn, Skyler, Asher, and Caleb. She is predeceased by her husband Leroy Chamberlin, son Gary Chamberlin, and 7 siblings. A celebration of Julia's life and her committal service will be held at Tallahassee National Cemetery on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Breanna Green of Bevis Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements.
