Larry Emanuel Davis

Larry Emanuel Davis, 83, of Sopchoppy, passed away on April 29, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Davis. Larry was born and raised in Sopchoppy and graduated from Sopchoppy High School. He retired from Broward Davis & Associates as a land surveyor. He was an avid outdoorsman and thoroughly enjoyed fishing and hunting. Other survivors include four children, Sharon Crum (Prentice) of Shady Grove; Tammy Davis of Tallahassee; Larry "Danny" Davis (Lisa) of Crawfordville; and Paul Davis (Gail) of Crawfordville; one sister, Jean Yale of Havana; three brothers, Broward Davis (Bernie) of North Carolina; Bruce Davis (Billie) of Sopchoppy; and Ricky Davis (Linda) of Crawfordville; six grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Irene Davis; two sisters, Hazel Davis and Helen Ray Davis Simmons; and three brothers, Howard Davis; Terry Davis; and Don Wayne Davis. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the West Sopchoppy Cemetery.
