Mark Blaine Prickett Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mark Blaine Prickett was born October 1, 1962. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a respected construction superintendent for over 25 years for Huryn Construction in Vero Beach, Florida. Mark had a smile that was contagious and a sparkle in his eyes that was second to none. He had a playful side and a “keep digging” attitude during tough times. Mark’s cancer diagnosis made him want to LIVE and boy did he! The past 5 years were filled with crazy adventures, new experiences and exploring the beautiful and serene Forgotten Coast of Florida. He was known to be the calm in the face of any situation, saying “Everything will be alright, even that one thing.” Mark is survived by his wife, Tracy Prickett of Panacea Florida; daughter, Jennifer Jarrett of Vero Beach, her husband, Chris Jarrett and two granddaughters, Kylie Jarrett and Bella Jarrett; brother, Gary Prickett and his wife Christine Prickett of Punta Gorda, Florida and step son, Nathan D’Ambrosia of Tallahassee. Mark also leaves many friends, extended family and his beloved dog, George. We will all remember him with love and laughter. Mark requested no formal services. A celebration of life location and date will be announced at a later time.
