    Patricia Wynne Goldinger

    September 8, 1938 - March 16, 2022

Patricia Wynne Goldinger, 83, passed away peacefully after a fall in Johnson City, Tennessee. Patricia was born in Miami, FL and moved to Tallahassee to attend college. She was the wife of the late John Charles Goldinger. They shared 58 years of a joy filled marriage together in Tallahassee, FL. Patricia is survived by her two daughters: Carol Goldinger Ford (Michael) of Jonesborough, TN; Jennifer Goldinger Starling (Scott) of Bristol, TN; two grandchildren: Connor Henry Ford and Kenzie Wynne Starling, all of Tennessee; and one sister Martha Wynne Rogers (Jim) of Atlanta, GA; and two nieces and two great nieces. Patricia and John both attended Florida State University. They fell in love in Tallahassee, and with Tallahassee. As a long- time resident, Patricia became involved with many community groups and activities such as Tallahassee Museum, Market Days, Town Club, Ladies Lions Club, and the Seminoles Boosters Organization. As avid fans of FSU sports, she and John faithfully attended football, baseball, and women’s softball games. Patricia loved laughter, music (Prism concerts), dancing with John, her family, and nature. She was particularly interested in birding and the family made many trips to St. Marks Nature Preserve. Patricia never met a stranger and had many treasured friends in Tallahassee and throughout the country. Patricia’s newest friends included the residents and staff of Everlan (retirement community) in Johnson City, TN who will also miss her. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. May she forever be dancing in John’s arms. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11 am at Beavis Funeral Home, family will receive friends following the service. The service will be available to view live online at https://www.bevisfh.com.
