Jacqueline Lindsey

Jacqueline Quinto Lindsey “Jackie”, 75, of Tallahassee passed away on November 9, 2023. Born in Mount Vernon, New York to Regina and Edward Quinto, Jackie then grew up in Connecticut before her family moved to North Miami. Jackie graduated high school from Miami Norland High School. Jacqueline Quinto Lindsey, was a devoted mother and cherished grandmother. Jackie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jack Lindsey, and her loving children, Jennifer Ricardo (Ralph), Tammy Randall, Donnie Randall (Stephanie), John Lindsey (Allison) and Travis Lindsey (Susan), and her one remaining twin sister, Judith Quinto. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that extends to her grandchildren: Matthew Ricardo, Hayden Randall, Malachi Lindsey, Michael Lindsey, Ella Randall, Chase Randall, John David Lindsey, Aaron Gaviria, Kara Lindsey and Olivia Lindsey. Jackie will be dearly missed by several great grandchildren, loving nieces and additional family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Regina Quinto, and her sister, Patricia Quinto Scranton, all of Tallahassee. Jackie met her husband, Jack, in February 1985 while she was working at a car insurance company in south Florida. After a short courtship, they married in August 1985, and began life as a blended family. Over the years, Jack and Jackie had the opportunity to live in several states throughout the country, and finally settled in Tallahassee in 2000. Jackie was a woman of faith. She was an animal lover and cherished taking care of strays and wildlife. She enjoyed gardening, the beach, and family gatherings. Above all she enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend to many. A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:00 with a reception to follow. In addition, a celebration of life will take place in January 2024 at Hollywood Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made St. Jude or Tallahassee Animal Services and Shelter.
