JENNIFER CAMERON LLEWELLYN Jennifer died on October 21 after a long illness surrounded by her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom. She was born on August 15, 1946, in Savannah, Georgia to John and Olga Cameron. Jennifer graduated from Georgia Southern College with a B.S. in Education. After three years of teaching in the Savannah school system, she married her loving husband, Tom on January 26, 1969. After the birth of their daughter Melissa, the family relocated to Jacksonville where they welcomed their daughter, Renee. After moving to Tallahassee in 1976, Jennifer taught 2nd grade at Trinity Catholic School for 31 years. Jennifer belonged to a strong and dedicated “family” of teachers and administrators that she was honored to teach with for more than three decades. She was proud to have taught second generations of many of her former students. She loved teaching and especially enjoyed guiding the 2nd graders through First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. She was beloved by her many students who often referred to her as their favorite teacher. Jennifer was an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and served as an Extraordinary Minister. She was dedicated to her faith and received great strength from her church. She loved the beach and cherished her time with her family. She especially enjoyed watching her granddaughters grow into beautiful young girls. Her older granddaughter, Eden, remembers playing puppet shows with her Granny and the younger one, Isabel, remembers going to the movies with her Granny. Jennifer is survived by daughters, Renee Cameron Llewellyn, Melissa Llewellyn Campos; son-in-law Sid Campos, and granddaughters Eden and Isabel Campos. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law John Llewellyn and wife, Martha and David Llewellyn and his wife, Betty. Jennifer had such a strong bond with her eccentric cat, Tommy, who will miss her greatly. The visitation will be on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 24th at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 4665 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32309-2512 or to the charity of your choice. Susie Mozolic of Bevis Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements.
