Pauline Newmann Twum

Rev. Pauline Newmann Twum nee Adumuah was born on March 29th 1965 the second of three daughters to Jonathan Noi Adumuah (deceased) and Elisheba Kitcher Adumuah of the Kitcher-Puplampu family of Big Ada and Ada Foah. She attended Anum Presbyterian Secondary School from where she acquired her O’level certificate and Social Advanced Institute and Workers College for her Diploma awarded by the London City and Guilds Institute as an undergraduate. She later went on to be employed by Kaiser Aluminum aka Volta Aluminum Company (VALCO) as a procurement officer. Pauline’s hard work, diligence and high ambitions opened doors for career opportunities as she later went on to work for Diageo, the parent company of Guinness Ghana and then to Barclays Bank International where she left an indelible mark of excellence as the Head of the Procurement Department. Her ambitions led her to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China. Pauline had just begun her Doctorate degree in Christian, Counselling and Deliverance in June 2020 at the Above & Beyond Christian Institute based in Tampa Florida, but the lord called her before she could submit her first Thesis. Pauline was an Evangelist, Pastor, Philanthropist and above all a soldier for Jesus Christ. She was ordained into ministry in April 0f 2018 She worked in the trenches for the Lord Jesus Christ. Her life reflected the life of her master Jesus Christ. She loved to pray and she prayed for everyone. She fed the hungry, clothed the naked, sheltered the homeless and helped the needy. She gave her ears to all who came her way. She was a dedicated mother to hundreds, a prayer warrior, a teacher and an evangelist who took evangelism seriously. She reached many with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She lived a principled life with Christ as her focus and so followed the great commission of her mentor Dr. David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide also known as Winners Chapel International. Pauline’s selflessness and love for Christ and humanity was remarkable, an example all should follow. She cared for the souls of all she met on her journey hence her mantra - Not I but Christ. Her faith in Jesus Christ saw her through many of life’s painful throes but she came out stronger. WHO SAY GOD NO DEY became her victory cry. She walked in the footsteps of her Grand Father Rev. Paul Tetteh Kitcher. She cherished the body of Christ. Pauline lived and died for Jesus Christ. Her life story is an inspiration all. She leaves behind a great legacy and a huge vacuum in her family. Pauline was blessed with 2 sons. The family will be receiving guests for a visitation at Bevis Funeral Home of Tallahassee on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services starting at 11:00 a.m. and interment at Tallahassee Memory Gardens to immediately follow.
