Sean Elton Petrovick

Sean E. Petrovick, age 57, of Tallahassee, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018. Sean was born January 8, 1961 in Pequannock, NJ, to Anthony Petrovick and Candace Gustafson Petrovick. He grew up in Ringwood and Hewitt, NJ. It was during those years where he made many friends, some who remained friends until the time of his passing. Sean was a master carpenter, working many years for Ron Jon Construction, and in his last working years for Custom Creations. He was exceptionally skilled as a carpenter and cabinet maker. He was also very talented mechanically. He built a motorcycle which is really a work of art, and will serve as a tribute to his talent and skill as a designer and builder. He was always very humble about his ability; he didn't really think he was any more talented or skilled than others. If he only knew.... In his 20’s-30’s, he played bass guitar for the Roy White Band. Roy Voreland and John Marchese also made this journey before Sean. There is no doubt .. they were waiting for him and are playing music together again. In 2008 Sean moved to Tallahassee, FL. He is survived by his sons, Thomas and Harrison, both of Tallahassee, FL. He was pre deceased by both of his parents, and a brother Shannon. Sean is also survived by some long time friends who were supportive through his life, and especially so during the most difficult times. His family is very appreciative of these friends, Dan Rogosich, Eugene Greco, Matt Sisco, Danny Sisco, David Sisco, and Lisa Battistin. A tremendous thank you to Valerie, a nurse at Big Bend Hospice. Her care in his last days was immeasurable. Westscott Construction provided great help and support as well. It’s only with the help, love and support that what seems impossible becomes possible. Thank you. There will be a memorial service at a later time, in the NJ/NY area, where his friends are encouraged to attend and share their stories with Thomas and Harrison. Dan Rogosich will be posting information regarding the memorial as plans become finalized.
