Sharron Kay Walsh Odom

Sharron Kay Walsh Odom, a long-time resident of Tallahassee, FL, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, peacefully in the presence of her family and love on May 24, 2019 at the age of 75. Born in Mobile, AL on March 19, 1944 to Howard William Walsh Sr. and Frances Elaine Andress Walsh. She met and married the love of her life, Robert Edward “Ed” Odom Sr, spending sixty wonderful years together. She had many talents but above all she loved her husband and children. She dedicated her life ensuring her husband and family had a loving bond that was important to her. She was very active with family history, accurately collecting documents over many years from multiple sources and enjoyed sharing all of her findings. She was a realtor and an active owner with her husband and son in their construction business for over 50 years. She loved the Gulf Coast and historical homes. She had a special place in her heart for animals of all shapes and sizes. She was a true southern lady in every way and will forever remain in the hearts of anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sharron Odom is survived by her husband of sixty years, Robert Edward “Ed” Odom Sr and their four children. Daughter, Pamela Odom Peltier (Kim Peltier), their two children, Clifton and Christopher; daughter, Sissy Odom (Gerald Francois) her four children: Steven, Chad, Christy and Casie; son, Robert Edward Odom Jr (Barbara Parsont); daughter, Sherry Odom Gros (Cornell Gros), their two children, Michael and Tiffany and eighteen great grandchildren. Her three siblings, James R. Walsh (Ginger Walsh), their two children; Joanna Mansfield (Jerry Mansfield), their two children; Howard William Walsh, Jr. (Becky Walsh) and their two children She was preceded in death by her father and mother. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with services at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
