Tom Stacy

Our Dad Tom Stacy's graveside memorial will be at 10 a.m., this Friday August 14th 2015, at Oakfield Cemetery , 2462 Waukeenah Hwy. [ as though headed toward Monticello Fl.] November 5th 1942 ~ August 7th 2015. Tom Stacy was 'truly' a loving husband and father, not a perfect man, but a good man. Dad, kept his own illness to himself as he cared for his best friend, our mom Frances "Fran" - through the end of her own long term illness. He expressed clearly his loneliness without her and the empty ..although it didn't last long, it was at the same time unbearable for him in many ways ~ the waiting. She was the constant North Star of his life, even when that life fell to the imperfect of love's follies and turns, still that best friend ~ was the heart of home he found complete comfort in. It is our knowledge of self direction and collection to perfect balance that it is true that dad "just went home".. to his North Star. Mom passed ~ transcended December 5th 2014. Together, Tom better known as "Stacy" [ throw back to his Air Force days ] ~ that, and our mother's brother and stepfather were Tom, and Tommy. Plus, she simply understood ~ liked, the pride he took in being a "Stacy".. so to begin again ~ Stacy and Fran created the following hub of souls ~ Four daughters Claudia "Jean" Tabor Swanson, Patricia Arlene Tabor Harris, Frances Jolene "Joy" Stacy - Swanson/Wheatcraft, Terrie L. Stacy ( Yes the "L." stands for what you may guess an "L." stands for as middle name in the south... ) , Micheal G. Hogan a brother ~ from another mother [ Melvinie Hogan ] ~ as loved a son by mom and dad ~ as two hearts can love one boy. .. now a Good man and Always A Good Son. 11 Grandchildren : in order of appearance on this earth Nakia Harris, Jamil Harris, Luka Harris, Kari Renee Swanson, Samantha Nicole Swanson, Ronald "Corey" Swanson, Scotty Hogan, Michael "Mikey" Hogan, Hunter James Wheatcraft, Dalton Allen Swanson, Megan Daniele Wheatcraft. Great Grandchildren: Nicole Marcum, Daniel Marcum, Preston Cole Penton, Cayden Swanson, Micah Corey Swanson, Isabelle Sulivan, and soon to be born Baby Boy Sulivan.
